2  eggs<br />

<p><strong>Directions</strong><br />
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and anise seeds. In another bowl, cream together the eggs and sugar. Stir in vanilla extract. Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, beating until well blended. Drop batter by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet, leaving room for cookies to spread. Bake until lightly browned, about 15 to 20 minutes.</p>

<p><strong>Directions</strong><br />
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grind 12 of the almonds to a fine powder. Cream honey and butter together. Add egg, ground almonds, and extract.</p>
<p>In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Add gradually to wet ingredients. Knead into a dough. (Add a drop of water or flour one at a time if necessary to make a kneadable consistency.)</p>
<p>Pinch off small balls of dough and place on greased cookie sheet. Press flat into 1/2 inch thickness. Make an indention in top of each cookie and place a whole almond in each. Bake for 15 minutes.</p>
